CMC Klebetechnik - manufacturer and developer of technical adhesive tapes - has been producing adhesive tapes in Germany for over 60 years. These are primarily used in electrical engineering (insulating adhesive tape, UL file E93622 in accordance with UL 510 and IEC 60454). However, most adhesive tapes can also be used in other applications and industries. For example, polyester adhesive tapes for masking, PTFE adhesive tapes as a sliding surface, Kapton adhesive tapes for high-temperature applications and metal adhesive tapes when electrical conductivity is required. New developments and innovations are constantly being added to our range of adhesive tapes and die-cut parts.
Production and development
CMC Klebetechnik GmbH specializes in customer and application-specific solutions. The focus of its activities is the coating of film-like products with functional and adhesive coatings.
Technical adhesive tapes for all areas of application
Our adhesive tapes are characterized by a number of advantageous properties. This means that technical adhesive tapes can be used almost anywhere. A typical application for our insulating adhesive tapes is electrical engineering. However, many adhesive tapes can also be used in other industries due to their properties. The following selection of applications for adhesive tapes is therefore only an example and by no means a reflection of all possible adhesive tape applications.

Like many UL standards, insulation coordination in accordance with IEC 60664 uses the CTI value, which is the most common. Relevant standards are, for example, IEC 60587 and IEC 60112 as well as UL standard 749.
