These clear, very elastic PU films are weather and UV resistant. Our PU adhesive tapes are equipped with a very long-term aging-stable adhesive that does not yellow even after years.
Application: bending film for impression-free bending of metals
The high-quality PU film can also be used as a PU bending film. This film enables surface-friendly bending of e.g. aluminum and stainless steel. Scratches, abrasions and bending marks are efficiently avoided. At the same time, the film is considerably more durable than inexpensive PVC films.
Application: Erosion protection tape of rotor leading edges
The 0.300 mm thick film of the standard product (erosion protection tape) CMC 63330 resists erosion in the long term and thus contributes to cost-efficient operation. Long service intervals reduce maintenance costs. In addition, the PU adhesive tape is relatively easy to remove again. This considerably facilitates service work on the rotor blade that has not been dismantled.

CMC 63330 is a self-adhesive polyurethane film. Polyurethane is characterized by an enormously high impact strength. The soft, stretchable film is therefore often used as stone chip protection in vehicle construction or as erosion protection film on wing edges. The film is extremely puncture-resistant and can be used as damping on parts that come into contact with each other. Like the polyurethane film, the acrylate adhesive used is extremely weather-resistant, does not yellow and is UV-resistant over the long term. |
