Thermally conductive silicone films play an important role in thermal management. They combine good thermal performance and high dielectric strength with a favorable price. Processing from the roll is advantageous for the production of die-cut parts. This makes die-cut parts made from silicone films / silicone pads cheaper than those made from gap fillers, as gap fillers are generally only available as sheets.

Silicone films / silicone pads are elastic and compensate well for surface unevenness and manufacturing tolerances. The addition of thermally conductive fillers results in significantly improved heat transfer with good electrical insulation. Silicone films are available in various thicknesses, in a wide range of hardness and with different thermal conductivity. This makes it easier to adapt them to the respective installation situation. Due to the fabric insert, they are relatively dimensionally stable and can also be used well when fixed on one side (no crushing of the insulation layer).

In addition to the typical applications in power electronics, thermally conductive materials from CMC Klebetechnik are also used for refrigeration applications (e.g. Peltier elements).

Thermal connection of e.g. MOSFETs, IGBTs, power diodes, rectifiers, electronic modules, inverters, motor controls, automotive applications, solar technology, electrical heaters and for thermal connection of coils to heat sinks

Bei Bedarf sind viele Versionen auch einseitig oder beidseitig klebend erhältlich – diese werden dann kundenspezifisch erstellt.
